General Binding Rules

Small sewage discharges to the ground have to meet the Environment Agency’s General Binding Rules. If you are replacing a septic tank that discharges to a ditch or stream, or you are putting in a new plant in the countryside around York, those rules matter. We will talk them through in plain English. We are not solicitors and we will not pretend to be — we will point you at the official guidance and help you choose a setup that can actually comply.

Installs often sit alongside pump chambers and later emptying. If you only need the old tank emptying while you think it over, we can do that too.
